Project description
The Hospital Enfermeros Argentinos de General Alvear in Mendoza (Argentina) has delivered to the Intensive Care Unit – ICU a series of augmentative communication boards with ARASAAC pictograms, which allow the health professional establish a link and understand the basic needs of patients with assisted breathing or speech problems.
The Department of Speech Therapy and Communication has analyzed the appropriate method of augmentative communication and has begun with basic and specific boards for this sector.
The material has been extracted from the page of the Aragonese Center for Alternative and Augmentative Communication (ARASAAC).
